APS DFD Conference 2017

The 70th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society Division of Fluid Dynamics was held last week, November 19th-21st, in Denver, CO.

Dr. Marston presented research by graduate student Chao Li on explosive aerosol formation. This work was selected for the APS press conference, resulting in this video.

Simultaneously, in the neighbouring conference room, postdoc Dr. Simmons gave a talk on the group's ongoing work into intradermal jet injection.

Collaboration with Inovio Pharmaceuticals

We are delighted to announce a research collaboration with Inovio Pharmaceuticals on a project titled 'Needle-free Injection Hydrodynamics'. The grant worth in excess of $230,000 will be used to investigate the fluid dynamics associated with high-speed intradermal jet injection.
